


1. TURN LOCK NUT APPROXIMATELY 1/8 IN FROM SENSOR FLANGE HEAD.
2. SCREW IN SENSOR UNTIL LOCK NUT BOTTOMS OUT AGAINST TRANSMISSION HOUSING.
3. ALIGN INDEXING MARK SO THAT THE MARK FACES THE GEAR TEETH.
4. LOCK SENSOR IN PLACE BY HOLDING THE FLANGE HEAD AND TIGHTENING THE LOCK NUT AGAINST THE TRANSMISSION HOUSING.
5. IF OPERATION IS NOT ACHIEVED, LOOSEN LOCK NUT AND TURN SENSOR FLANGE HEAD IN ONE COMPLETE TUN AND LOCK.
NOTE: ORIENTATION OF SENSOR TO GEAR IS IMPORTANT. MISALIGNMENT OF 15 DEGREES IN EITHER DIRECTION MAY AFFECT OPERATION.
